What goes in the bottle, and how far it pours

Everything else we make is a machine for turning this liquid into bubbles, so the liquid gets more of our attention than anything. One mix runs the whole catalog: the tumblers, the machines, the blasters and the wands all drink from the same bottle.

What the mix is, and is not

Fubbles solution is non-toxic and made without dyes, and it is safety tested to the same standard our youngest toys carry. It is mixed for long-lasting bubbles, which in practice means bubbles that survive being chased across a yard rather than popping at the wand. What it is not is dish soap. Home mixes foam, but they gum up machine motors and sting more when the inevitable splash finds an eye, and a bottle of the real mix costs less than the experiment.

Reading the sizes

The ladder is simple. Small bottles around 16oz keep a tumbler topped up for weeks. The 64oz refill is the household workhorse: it fills machines, recharges every tumbler in the toybox, and usually comes with a multi-hole wand of its own. At the top sits the 169oz jug for the porch that runs bubbles all summer. Price per ounce falls as the bottle grows, which is the whole argument for buying the size that matches your season, not your week.

Pouring without waste

• Pour over grass, not patio. Spills vanish into a lawn and glaze a deck.
• Use a funnel for the tumbler well and the machine reservoir. The wide jugs pour fast.
• Cap the big bottle between sessions and keep it out of the sun. The mix keeps; evaporation is the only thief.
• Do not top up with water to stretch a bottle. Thin solution pops early and the last inch of fun goes flat.

If you only ever buy one thing from us twice, it will be this bottle. That is by design, and we would rather earn the second purchase with a mix that works than with a toy that needs replacing.
